Three Things About Me:

1) I like to read about Harry and Meghan. Not so much the rest of the royal family, but the Duke and Duchess…yeah, guilty pleasure.

2) I love hockey. I used to go up to Anaheim every year to watch my favorite team, Detroit Red Wings play against the Ducks. I can’t justify the $500-600 I spent on tickets and a hotel room anymore.

3) I have two tattoos. A sun on my right upper back and a moon on my left upper back. Both are a little faded and sun damaged but I still love them and want to get more.

Beckie’s Questions :

If you were to have one wish come true, what would it be?

To be able to experience the world the way Ben does for a day. To see through his eyes, feel what his body feels, understand his thought processes. Then I would know how to help him better.

What is the least favorite thing about yourself that you wish you could change?

I don’t know. I don’t think about body or personality “flaws” like I did when I was younger. It really is liberating to accept and love yourself. I wish I wasn’t so clumsy. I find new and creative ways to injure myself all the time.

What was the last funniest thing to happen to you?

I went to the corner market and there was a dog tied up outside the door. I looked down to say hello to the cute pupper and somehow tangled my feet and did a slow motion, trying to catch myself, fall and landed right on my butt. Everyone rushed over to see if I was okay. I just sat there laughing for a minute. I wasn’t hurt.

What was your favorite subject in school.

Drama. I was in three plays and loved it. Theater people are kooky and eccentric in all the best ways.

Weird/Strange Question… If you could have dinner with anybody (Dead or Alive) who would that be, and what would you like to ask them?

Socrates. I love Greek food and philosophy. He’d be asking me all the questions though.

I’m not going to nominate people. Everyone reading this, consider yourself gifted with the Mystery Blogger Award if you want it.

Go for it! Do your own post. I’ll even give you five questions to answer.

  1. What was the last movie you watched?
  2. What is your favorite time of day/night?
  3. What are your favorite pizza toppings?
  4. When was the last time you played on the swings?
  5. What is the one book, music recording or miscellaneous item you’d want to have if you were stranded on a desert island?

That’s it from me. Answer in the comments if you’d like or do your own Mystery Blogger Award post.

  1. I so love your answer to #1. To learn more about how Ben perceives the world around him, and what makes him tick. Beautiful!!!
OUCH! With the dance number, you had with the puppy. Egads… That must of hurt like hell.
I’m so happy you were able to find the time to accept the award!!! 😊

    1. I’m working on less procrastination and more DOing. Making time instead of finding it. Plus I had to buy a new phone and it’s easier for me to cut & paste now.👍😂
I thought about world peace and all that for #1, but honestly Ben’s autism and verbal trouble make him such a mystery. It would make things so much easier for all of us if I or his mama understood more.
      Thanks for tagging me😘🌻💕😍

      1. I am the cut & paste queen… It makes it that much easier to respond to everything. LOL!
I can only imagine how frustrating and overwhelming not to be able to reach Ben. I had a second cousin with autism. Back when I was little, I couldn’t understand why we had such a difficult time communicating. We loved playing with dolls. That much I do remember, but it was hard to even undertand the adults when they tried to explain it to me… They didn’t undertand much of what was happening back in those day. I just knew I loved my cousin.
You are so very welcome! You are always on my mind. 🤗 🤩 Isn’t that a Willie Nelson song?) LOL!
Have a pleasant evening, Dear. Nite, nite. 😴

  2. I have a tattoo of the sun too! I liked to think of the sun as a promise – so when I am down and feeling low – when everyone and everything I thought I could count on has let me down and I am left all alone – I know that I can count on the sun to rise again and give me hope. I got it when I was 16. I went through a bad depression in high school. ANYWAY – I have much better days but the reminder of the sun’s promise is always with me 🙂 You are my sun buddy!

    1. At 16?😯 You little rebel 😉😂 Getting tattooed can be very therapeutic and it’s a permanent reminder. How cool that we both have suns! (autocorrect wanted to change it to “sons”…ha, I guess that’s kinda true too) Sun (or son) buddies for sure!!😍😘

      1. I did get it young – my only regret with it is that I put it in between my stomach and my hip never ONCE thinking about a future pregnancy. Ah, silly 16 year old. I went with a friend – we talked the whole time about decorating some fake college dorm so the tattooist actually thought we were in college (like he cared) 🙂

        1. As long as your money was green… 😂
I didn’t get my first until I was 28 or 29. I had always wanted one, just never got around to it. When I got home & showed older daughter, she burst into tears and hid under the table. She was afraid I was going to turn into one of the “mean mommies with all the tattoos”. Other moms from school I guess…poor thing. It’s funny now but was a major crisis at the time.
